Well, I found something else to do.. Buy a new computer!!
After a few weeks of researching, "umm-ing" and "ahh-ing", I today purchased a brand new 15" MacBook Pro, upgrading the hard-drive, processor and RAM, then bundled it with the Final Cut Studio programs. This will be one hell of a laptop and will look after my audio/video editing needs, my website and blog!
Mind you, it didn't come cheap, but this computer will be worth it and I'm sure I will be happy with it for a number of years to come.
This new computer was also purchased for its mobility. I'm always moving between locations and find it limiting to do my work at home on my desktop PC. With friends advising me that Mac is the best platform (and most stable) for audio and video editing, I thought I should just bite the bullet and go with an Apple laptop.
Over the next few months keep an eye out for changes on my website, blog and at my shows. I plan to use this new baby of mine and use it well. No doubt it will take a little while though to master the programs, but I will enjoy creating it all myself!
It will take about 2 weeks or so to have my customized laptop created and shipped to me, so will keep you informed when it arrives!

you have made the right choice! i am a mac user and i love it. best design, stable platform and mac users tend to be sexier than boring pc users. plus, you can use windows on your macbook pro if you really need to. money well spent!

Thanx buddy.. Yes I think it will be a good investment for sure. I didn't know Mac owners were sexier... maybe I should create an online poll on my website to find out! Take care..
